From all the inventions which involved the capture of transient scenes at high imaging speed, one in particular could be considered one of the greatest breakthroughs. This invention, of which I'm talking about, is the compressed ultrafast photography (CUP), which can capture non-repetitive time-evolving events at up to 1011 frames per second.
